Cambodia: A woman in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, reportedly survived a fall from the eighth floor of a building after landing on the zinc roof of a nearby house.

The unusual incident happened in the early hours of Sept 27, according to a report by Sin Chew Daily.

Residents Rushed To The Scene

People living nearby were reportedly jolted awake by the sound of a heavy crash. After hearing the noise, residents went to find out what had happened.

They discovered the woman on the corrugated zinc roof of a neighbouring property. Given the height of the fall, witnesses initially feared she had suffered fatal injuries.

However, the woman reportedly regained consciousness around 30 minutes later.

She then sat up on the roof and, in an unexpected turn of events, took out her mobile phone.

According to the report, she spent about 20 minutes using the phone while still on the roof.

She Climbed Down By Herself

The woman eventually made her way down from the corrugated roof without assistance.

She was reportedly able to climb down on her own before walking away from the area.

Residents were reportedly stunned by what happened, as the woman was able to get back on her feet after the fall.

It is unclear if she sought medical attention after leaving the area. No further information was given about her identity or condition.

Authorities and local reports have also not explained how she ended up falling from the eighth floor.

The incident has drawn attention because she reportedly survived the fall, regained consciousness, and eventually left the scene on her own.
