Screams heard as lower body of woman seen dangling over parapet of Tengah block

In a heart-stopping recent incident, a woman was seen dangling halfway over the parapet of an HDB block in Tengah.

It was captured in a video posted on social media platform XiaoHongShu on Sunday (1 Dec), which showed the woman’s lower body hanging precariously over the edge.

Loud screams can be heard while neighbours below looked up at the scene.

Thankfully, at least three people were holding on to the woman, preventing her from falling to certain death.

The rescuers, who appeared to be wearing face masks and gloves, can be heard talking to the woman and one another. One of them also seemed to be talking on the phone at one point.

Finally, after bracing themselves, they managed to hoist the woman over the parapet and safely onto the corridor.
