Vietjet Air – Low-cost carrier with cheap flights to Hanoi

If you haven’t visited the capital of Vietnam, now’s your chance to grab cheap flights and explore the many things to do in Hanoi. Starting on 8th March 2024, Vietjet Air will be releasing promotional tickets from S$80 for one-way flights between Singapore and Hanoi every Friday. And yes, that’s inclusive of all taxes and fees.

Vietjet Air pretty much operates as a budget airline when it comes to Economy seats. You’re given a free 7kg carry-on baggage and have to purchase an additional allowance should you wish to check in a bag. You can also pre-book meals like Banh Mi (VND50,000, ~S$2.72) and Beef Rice (VND80,000, ~S$4.35).

Having said that, there are options to upgrade your tickets to Deluxe, SkyBoss, or Business Class. When you choose Deluxe or SkyBoss packages, you get the same seats as Economy but with extra perks such as check-in baggage and meals. SkyBoss offers additional benefits like being given priority to choose seats and flight insurance.
