Warung Sika in Canggu Bali has affordable nasi campur
Canggu has its fair share of pretty cafes and bars, but this coastal village also has one of my favourite warungs in Bali: Warung Sika. Located in the heart of Canggu, the family-owned stall offers something similar to our local cai fan concept, where customers get to choose their rice before picking accompanying vegetables and meat for their meal. In Indonesia, these rice dishes are also commonly referred to as nasi campur.
Warung Sika is immensely popular among locals and tourists alike, as they’re known to serve one of the cheapest––and most delicious––nasi campur in Canggu. Plus, they also offer vegan and vegetarian options.
Aesthetics-wise, there’s nothing fancy about the warung. Long wooden tables are lined up just in front of the food display for communal dining, along with cosy rattan chairs for customers to sit on. If you’re dining as a couple, they’ve also got smaller tables beside the wall so you can enjoy your meal in private.
