Cafe Jufei in Kulai

One of our favourite things about Kulai, a town 45 minutes from JB, is how contrastingly peaceful it feels compared to busy cities like JB and Singapore. Here, you’ll be able to find cosy cafes with major zen vibes that are perfect for people-watching and chill dates.

Of these, a must-visit spot is Cafe Jufei. This quaint cafe transported us straight into an old-school Taiwanese flick, with aesthetic retro furniture and homey cafe grub that we could chit-chat over for hours.

How to get to Cafe Jufei in Kulai?

Cafe Jufei is located right in the town centre of Kulai, and is just a 13-minute walk from the KTM station. You can also opt to take a 2-minute car ride from the train station to the cafe, but if you enjoy calming strolls, we’d recommend going by foot instead since the roads here are relatively quiet and peaceful.

Also, a side note – the cafe’s entrance may be a tad hard to locate as there’s no recognisable signboard placed outside, but keep a lookout for a small shophouse with green flooring and brick walls. You should be able to find a small menu board there, next to a flight of stairs. Walk right up, and you’ll reach Cafe Jufei.
