Gamtan Korean Cuisine is a new Korean restaurant in Telok Ayer 

Gamtan Korean Cuisine, a newly opened Korean restaurant in the CBD, is one of the few spots in Singapore where you can enjoy sotbap. In case you didn’t know, sotbap is a traditional Korean pot rice widely enjoyed by Korean natives. If you enjoy sotbap as much as we do, here’s good news: the new restaurant is located within spitting distance of Telok Ayer MRT Station.

In early 2024, our team got to try Sagye in Tanjong Pagar, another sotbap specialty restaurant that created quite a buzz on social media platforms. Besides Sagye, more Korean restaurants offering sotbap have sprouted in Singapore, which goes to show the growing popularity of this traditional dish.
