SINGAPORE – Come November, Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) attendees can look forward to two Booker Prize-nominated or winning fiction authors, a New York Times best-selling science writer, an Eisner Award-winning artist, a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and a young adult fiction writer whose work is now available on a streaming platform.
Without naming the specific guests, first-time festival director Yong Shu Hoong on July 24 gave a glimpse of the curatorial direction for his debut event. It is themed In Our Nature, inspired by his walks in Singapore’s green areas during the pandemic.
