Fell While Going Down the Mountain
A 56-year-old Singaporean woman sustained head injuries after falling while descending Mount Kinabalu early Monday morning (March 24).
The incident happened at KM7.2 of the mountain at around 7:00 am. Due to her injuries, she was unable to continue her journey down.
Emergency Response and First Aid
At 7:33 am, the Ranau Fire and Rescue Station received an emergency call about the incident. A rescue team of 17 Mountain Search and Rescue (MOSAR) personnel, along with Sabah Parks rangers and health officials, was quickly deployed to assist her.
