SINGAPORE – They might have limited resources and even face racist incidents, but independent musicians from Singapore are taking the plunge with gigs and projects overseas in a bid to boost their presence.
The Straits Times speaks to singer-songwriters Bitty, Lincoln Lim and Jaye Foo, as well as metal band Deus Ex Machina, to find out what it takes to make their dreams happen in a foreign country and the challenges they had to overcome.
