The Singapore Flyer was the tallest observation wheel in the world from 2008 to 2014, measuring 165m tall. Today, it ranks 3rd in the list of tallest observation wheels, behind Las Vegas’ 167.6m tall High Roller and Dubai’s Ain Dubai which stands at a whopping 250m.
Building this massive observation wheel wasn’t an easy feat, requiring 2.5 years and a whopping $240 million to complete. Though the title isn’t with us anymore, it’s still Asia’s largest observation wheel!
