In celebration of National Shawarma Day, Shawarma Shack, Philippines’ largest shawarma chain, will be offering a 1-for-1 offer for all wrap and rice bowls at its first overseas outlet in Singapore, located at HDB Hub Toa Payoh. The Singapore outlet opened in August 2025.

A shawarma is a tender, fragrant, boldly spiced and marinated meat with crispy caramelised edges that form as it rotates on a vertical skewer – the Middle Eastern rotisserie method of cooking meats, such as lamb, chicken, and beef. The tender meat is then thinly sliced, grilled and added to a pita wrap with a variety of toppings such as fresh vegetables, cheese and a variety of herbs and sauces.

National Shawarma Day celebrates the shawarma and the dishes it makes. Shawarma Shack sells chicken and beef shawarmas in wraps, rice and salads.
