Young Girl Electrocuted While Playing on Balcony

A seven-year-old girl in northern Brazil narrowly escaped serious injury after receiving an electric shock while playing on her balcony. Nikolly Gabriela de Sousa was holding a stick decorated with fairy lights when it came into contact with a nearby overhead power line.

The incident took place in Cametá, Pará, and was captured on the family’s home security camera. The footage shows Nikolly swinging the stick behind her head like a fishing rod moments before a burst of sparks erupts and sends her flying backwards.

She fell hard onto the floor and lay motionless as family members rushed to help. 

Minor Injuries After Shocking Fall 

Despite the dramatic nature of the incident, Nikolly escaped with only minor burns to her hands and legs. She was quickly taken to the local emergency department, where doctors performed a CT scan and discharged her the same night.
