Entrepreneur Mario Ho, son of late Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho, and Chinese supermodel Ming Xi have finally held their wedding ceremony seven years after their marriage.
The couple held their wedding in Deauville, France, on June 1 and shared photos of the event on Chinese social media platform Weibo on June 2.
“Our anniversary + 1,” they wrote in Chinese, tagging each other in their respective posts.
Ho, 31, and Xi, 37, appeared as though they were moved to tears as they exchanged vows, as they were seen kissing each other in another photo. Their six-year-old son and four-year-old daughter served as page boy and flower girl at the wedding.
The couple had on May 31 shared on Instagram photos of their dinner to welcome the guests, with Xi appearing at the reception in a light blue dress.
Among the photos the couple shared were one of them gazing at each other, and a group photo of them with their parents and children. Ho also shared a photo with his mother Angela Leong.
Xi also shared a photo with Chinese-American Olympic skier Eileen Gu, who commented under the post: “The most beautiful bride”.
According to Hong Kong media, Hong Kong pop star Jackson Wang was also present at the wedding and served as a groomsman.
Ho and Xi’s romance made headlines in May 2019 when he proposed to her with 99,999 roses in Shanghai. They registered their marriage about two months later and Xi gave birth to their son in October the same year.
Stanley Ho died at the age of 98 in May 2020, and Xi gave birth to a daughter in November 2021.
