Fun Toast’s history goes all the way back to 1941, the beginning of the popular old-school breakfast spot that used to be named Kheng Nam Hong. Like many of you, we like their Kaya Butter Toast Set ($5.90) best, comprising traditional brown bread with a slab of butter, soft-boiled eggs, and a cup of kopi. FYI, this is the most affordable kaya butter toast set you can get out of all the popular franchises in Singapore.
