Hazukido opens in Chinatown with famous Taiwanese croissants

Here’s a piece of good news for those working in the CBD: Hazukido, a popular croissant chain from Taiwan, has set up shop along Club Street in Chinatown! The new kiosk is located in Basement 2 of Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre, a four or six-minute walk from Telok Ayer or Chinatown MRT Station respectively.

In case you didn’t know, Hazukido is a Taiwan-famous chain specialising in Japanese-inspired croissants. These pastries are baked in small batches, using French butter and Japanese flour.

Over at their OG outlet at Ngee Ann City, you can expect around 20 croissant flavours.

Orh nee fans must try the Taro & Pudding Croissant ($6.50), available at both outlets. You get a palm-sized croissant loaded with a creamy yam filling, finished with a chunk of pudding.
