i-City Theme Park near KL

When we think of theme parks in Malaysia, those that often come to mind are attractions like Legoland, Genting Skyworlds, or Sunway Lagoon. But if you’ve already been to all 3, here’s a less crowded, more underrated alternative to consider: i-City Theme Park near KL.

Located just 45 minutes from KLCC, i-City is a 72 acre large amusement park in Selangor filled with attractions like VR games, a winter wonderland, and even a thrilling 20-storey tall glass slide. Read on for our review of everything we did during our visit.

Where is i-City Theme Park?

i-City is located at Shah Alam in Selangor, which is a rough 45 minute drive from KL’s city centre. While it’s most easily accessible by car, those taking public transport can travel to Padang Jawa station, the nearest KTM station to the theme park. From there, i-City is roughly a 10 minute drive away.

How much are tickets to i-City Theme Park near KL? 

Each individual attraction at i-City has its own ticketing price, which you can see here. However, if you plan on visiting multiple attractions, it might be more worth it to purchase the All Day Happyness Pass (RM175, ~S$56.67).

The package grants you entry to the majority of zones at i-City, including WaterWorld, SnoWalk, Immersive Winterland, and more. Do note that this pass excludes entry to Sky glass slide, which has a separate entrance fee.
