This cemetery was established in 1887 and is known as the last remaining Hakka cemetery in Singapore. Another name for it is Shuang Long Shan, which means Twin Dragon Hills. Initially, this area was filled with hills and gardens. 

However, over time, the city’s demand increased. As a result, the government redeveloped the land in the 1960s. Then the cemetery was reduced and arranged in a specific layout.
