$5.4 million Bugatti hypercar on tour

All 250 units of the Bugatti Tourbillon have already been spoken for, so your best chance to catch a glimpse of the supercar is at Wearnes Automotive, where the car is making its South-east Asian debut.

The Bugatti representative for South-east Asia has been hosting guests from the region to see the car in person. If the Tourbillon – which costs €3.8 million (S$5.38 million) before customisation and taxes – were to be registered in Singapore, it will cost around $28 million after taxes and the requisite certificate of entitlement.

This is, however, a moot point as the car is available only in left-hand-drive form and so cannot be used here. Production is slated to start only in 2026.

Unlike the Chiron and Veyron before, the Tourbillon’s V16-cylinder engine is not turbocharged. It is, however, electrified, with the 8.3-litre engine’s performance augmented by three 250kW electric motors, making a combined output of 1,800hp. The car completes the 0-100kmh sprint in two seconds and has a top speed of 445kmh.

After Singapore, the car will be transported to China in December.
