Eggslut Singapore is now closed

It’s a sad time for Eggslut fans, as the famous American chain has exited the Singapore market. After close to four years of operating, Eggslut Singapore has officially closed.

According to online reports, Eggslut Singapore quietly shut down its last-standing Scotts Square outlet on 28 February 2025. There was no official notice or announcement of the closure until recently, when the Singapore outpost confirmed their departure in response to queries from The Straits Times.

Just last year, Eggslut’s Suntec City outlet shut down after two years of business.

In 2021, the LA-famous Eggslut debuted in Singapore to much fanfare. Its Scotts Square restaurant drew snaking queues after its opening, with fans lining up for a taste of their signature scrambled egg-loaded sandwiches. FYI, the brand was brought in by the SPC Group, a South Korean holding company that also brought Shake Shack and Paris Baguette to Singapore.

Eggslut Singapore previously had a collab with Jumbo Seafood to launch a limited-time Chilli Crab Sandwich, which starred Jumbo’s signature chilli crab sauce atop Eggslut’s cage-free soft scrambled eggs.
