Earlier this month, the local bakery rolled out a cake vending machine at Suntec City. Previously, these vending machines were launched at Woodleigh Village and Bukit Batok West.

The ordering process is simple. Browse the selection via the touchscreen on the machine; there are four cake flavours: kaya, peanut, chocolate, and rainbow chocolate. Each cake is six inches in diameter, which yields approximately five to six slices.

After making payment, a delivery tray will move upwards to retrieve your cake box, before gently lowering it to the collection area.

My personal favourite is the Kaya Pandan Cake ($22.10), where fluffy pandan sponge layers are paired with a fragrant kaya pudding. The cake has a nostalgic flavour I love, and it’s not too sweet either.
