SINGAPORE - The Dubai-based company that created the world-famous “Dubai chocolate” – a chocolate bar with a pistachio cream and crunchy kataifi filling – has set up shop at Changi Airport with a pop-up store at Terminal 1’s transit area.
The pop-up, which will run for three months until Jan 30, 2026, is Fix Dessert Chocolatier’s first in Asia.
Chocolate lovers can now get their hands on crowd-favourite Can’t Get Knafeh of It, known commonly as “Dubai chocolate”, at the store daily from 6am to 12am. Four other flavours will also be on sale, said Changi Airport in a Facebook post.
Fix Dessert Chocolatier was founded in 2021, but the candy became a global phenomenon only after a February 2024 video of TikTok food influencer Maria Vehera eating a bar in her car went viral.
The worldwide frenzy over the dessert sparked remakes, including in Singapore
The company has previously hosted pop-ups in New York and London.
The Straits Times has reached out to distributor FNA Group for more details.
