Man with knife refused to open the door during drug raid, forced entry conducted
During a drug raid conducted on Friday (29 Nov), officers from the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) encountered a 60-year-old man with a knife.
After subduing him, about 2.4kg of heroin was found in his home, among other drugs.
Residential unit in central S’pore raided
In a news release on Friday, CNB said an islandwide anti-drug operation was conducted from 24 to 29 Nov.
Some of the areas involved included Bukit Batok, Hougang, Marsiling, Queenstown and Yishun.
One of these raids took place on Friday morning, when officers raided a residential unit in the central region of Singapore.
However, the male resident, a Singaporean, refused to let the officers in despite their lawful orders.
As such, they had to conduct forced entry.

Once they entered, the man was seen holding a knife.
He was quickly subdued by the officers to prevent injury to himself and others.
