Man, 27, arrested in Woodlands for suspected involvement in loanshark activities

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) arrested a 27-year-old man for his suspected involvement in several cases of loanshark harassment.

In the press release on Tuesday (1 Sept), the police said they arrested the man at a residential unit along Woodlands Crescent.

Alerted to the man’s activities in Woodlands

On 31 Aug, the police were alerted to a case of loanshark harassment at a residential unit along Woodlands Crescent at about 1.45pm.

According to the police, a bicycle lock had secured the residential unit’s main gate.
