It’s official: the Circle Line is finally a complete loop. More than 20 years in the making, Circle Line Stage 6 opened on 12 July 2026, adding three new stations–Keppel, Cantonment, and Prince Edward Road–to Singapore’s MRT network. Cosy and inviting, The Better Half is a hole-in-the-wall cafe tucked away in Everton Park, now just a 13-minute walk from Cantonment MRT Station.

The cafe is best known for its lineup of freshly baked cakes.
