Mount Austin is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Johor Bahru (JB) to visit when I want to enjoy some peace and quiet, away from the bustling city. I usually go there for good coffee and desserts over conversations with friends, but with so many cafes sprouting up on every corner, you may feel spoilt for choice. 1. The Blue Door Coffee House

Hidden behind a huge blue door on the second floor, along a row of cafes and restaurants, is The Blue Door Coffee House. This spacious cafe can easily seat more than 50 customers at once, and offers a wide range of trendy matcha and pistachio-flavoured drinks and desserts.
